Jacobs first began acting lessons when she was 8 years old and continued to attend the classes on Saturdays at Pittsburgh Playhouse. Mt. Jacobs quit Lebanon High School for New York City in the year 2000. She became part of Group 33, the Drama Division of Group 33. Her bachelor's was awarded in the year 2004.
